Gaymont Care
and Rehabilitation

Welcome Home

Bring your heart and feel at home at Gaymont Care. We work tirelessly to create a family like environment for you or your loved one to call home. Gaymont was founded by William Dotson, Sr. in 1961. His vision began as a small nursing home along Norwalk Ohio's historic West Main Street, and has remained an integral part of Norwalk's business community for nearly six decades since. In that time, we have grown into a 112 bed skilled nursing facility with a designated Alzheimer's Care Unit.

Whether you are considering Gaymont as your home or for a post-hospital stay, you can be rest assured that our staff will provide personal, patient-centered care tailored to your individual needs.

Activities, Amenities, And More

We offer a new activities calendar with events and activities each month to all residents and family members. You can join in the fun of our daily activities, including physical fitness classes, movie nights, bingo, arts and crafts, and more. Each resident is encouraged to take part in our social activities.
We provide daily activities which promote motor and neuro skills, socialization, and peer interaction; from the arts to the sciences, religion to history, and special events such as movies and live music. Our resident calendar has something for everyone and spans seven days a week.
